Tash Party

We had the tash party finally. Because of the rain we thought that the turn out is gonna be poor and its gonna b a flop. But slowly people started turning up and it was good. Although I didn’t play myself but overall it was good. We had tea and some snacks. This weekend is very hectic for hubby with a lot of assignments lined up. Above all, we have to necessarily go shopping because we have 2 buy some clothes for him. Its very difficult to get sometime from him these days. There is work given by my mom which has to be done, but we are unable to go and get it done from the past 2-3 weeks. Lets hope we can complete it soon.

Rest, Diwali is on the line now…….

Latest updates

Ok… Now that my blog has gone public its my moral responsibility to try and keep it updated as much as possible. So here I go again. Haven’t blogged from quite a long time because this place is keeping me busy. Hell of a busy. I think that’s very important also because as we don’t see our other half most part of the day, it becomes important to keep us involved with some other activities.

Term Break
The LONG term (about 1 week) came and went by. Most of the time was spent watching DVDs from the library. We didn’t go anywhere for 2 reasons, my office and hubby’s ELP. I watched atleast 10-12 movies during that time. Sometimes, I started feeling I have become a movie lover suddenly. We used to return one and get another one. One day we saw 3 DVDs at home. Dandiya preparation during the term break were weak because many families had gone out for term break.

Karwa Chauth
I took a half day from office that day and came home early. Did pooja and all & went to RC for the common thali rotation. It was thoda thoda confusion but enjoyed it. In the night we had the awesome dinner by SFA. Met some new people there. Good…. U know I met one exciting and charming personality there, A. Although I didn’t get a chance to interact with her a lot, but what all I cud see and got to know, she is very enthusiastic. Cool Keep it up!!!....

Dandiya
The dandiya practice continued till the last day and we had the final D-day on 22nd Oct (which coincidently happened to be honey’s b’day too). We couldn’t go out or plan something for his b’day but we enjoyed the dandiya night to the fullest. Dance’d a lot. I had never seen him dance so much in the last 5 years. It came in a shock. But u know he is changing. I appreciate that. Ok. Let me come back to the topic. There was a spouse’s dance followed by a students dance and finally the open dance floor. Let me be a little frank here, I found the students performance much better than ours. Those people practiced for a week and we had been practicing for more than a month.
Over all it was a fun-filled evening.

After the dandiya event, things became a little slow. With nothing planned for the evening. Used to come from the office, prepare dinner and then wait from him to come back or spare sometime with me. But at the same time, I didn’t even wanted him to devote his attention to me and shift his focus. I wanted him to study also but I wanted to talk to someone also….

All the spouses here were feelng the same, so we have now planned for a Jua ;) party today evening. Lets see how it goes. I must say, R is great. She is also so enthusiatic and keeps on coming with some event or the other. Some events still in discussions phases right now are, Zoo outing and Movie.

We went to one of our relatives in Hyd during the term break and I was telling them about the SFA events which keep on happening here. To this aunty said, there used to be friend of theirs who hired a maid just to keep his wife busy so that he can devote his time to his work. That person did a lot in his life and ISB has also adopted this philosophy. We need to keep the spouses also busy so that the students can concentrate on their studies.

I have A LOT OF friends here now… I am loving the place and want to pray.. hey God.. please these 6 months should never go…I want to enjoy life from this dimension also.

I have been trying to read “Prodigal Daughter” from about month now. But never got a chance to finish it because people around here seem to keep me busy all time..which of course I love….

6th Oct 2005

Isn’t it long since I wrote…. Days are very hectic these days with dance classes in the evening and office during the daytime. One of my friends who was previously working in my project has joined a company around here. Met her in the last 2 days, infact I took her out for grocery shopping last evening. This place is so far from the city that getting groceries for daily household itself seems like an expedition. But whatever it be, this place rocks. This Monday was the last day of their sections. 2 of his classmates have done an awesome work (one prepared a collage of the section mates and the other prepared a video). People here are so innovative. I simple loved it. I am enjoying my dance practice sessions too. I have made some friends here. I am after hubby to bring in some modifications in him. Not that he is not loving and awesome, but u know the perfectionist syndrome from which I suffer. At times, he gets so pissed off that he states, not no reason I want a saggi child. What if he also suffers from the same. Mera jeena to dubhar ho jaayega then. One of his classmates became father this week and people were after him to be dunked. Poor DAD!!!. But later he applied his MBA skills and convinced everyone for not dunking him 
Now that hubby might be a little free over the next week, I am looking forward to spending some quality time with him. I am keeping my fingers crossed 

Looking forward to the forthcoming events, Karwa Chauth and Dandiya night.

This place ROCKS….
